S. Korea, U.S. to conduct joint air exercise next month as planned

Despite the rapid spread of the coronavirus
in the country, South Korea and the U.S. will carry out a joint air exercise next month
as planned. According to the Voice of America on Friday,
Pentagon Spokesman Dave Eastburn confirmed that his country has no plans to cancel the
drill. Meanwhile, one more Korean soldier in Pocheon
city has been confirmed to be infected with the virus,…bringing the total to four soldiers. Starting Saturday, the South Korean defense
ministry is temporarily limiting solders’ leave and travel as well as banning visitors
as a preventive measure.
