4 Reasons To NOT Meditate | Benefits of Meditation


You’re probably thinking, “Supreet is such a passionate advocate of meditation. Then why is she talking about reasons to not
meditate?” Continue watching to find out why. My last video was a serious one
about meditating on your own mortality. So I thought this video, I’ll make it a
lighter one. Now let’s talk about reasons to not meditate. I do want to say before
I start that this is supposed to be a light-hearted video so I hope you take
it in that spirit. So here’s reason number one. If you
meditate, you’d be a calmer person to be around.
Your spouse doesn’t deserve that! Reason number two. If you meditate, your stress level will go down. You might start drinking less alcohol or
no alcohol. You might get asked to be the designated driver every time. Oh no! Reason number three. If you meditate, you might not need your sleeping pills to fall asleep. Then what would you do with all the sleeping pills that you already purchased? And reason number four. Meditation will make you more focused. You might start doing your work better and faster. Your boss might notice that and promote you. And we all know what promotion means – more work, more responsibility. Who needs that? Like I said in the beginning, this is supposed to be a light-hearted video. So do not overthink what I said. Instead of overthinking, tell me what else would you add to my list of fun reasons to not
